1300 or 1800, and how does it work?

With 1300 numbers, customers typically pay the price of a local call when they call you, whereas with 1800 numbers typically that call is free. Fonecall's plans for 1300 and 1800 numbers are identical, meaning you can choose based on preference without worrying about cost. Both numbers work by silently diverting calls to the 1300/1800 to your phone number (or numbers). You don't need to make any changes to your current phone set up and there's nothing more to it.

Do I need to pay for calls?

The way that 1800 numbers (and 1300 numbers) work around Australia is that you pay for the calls that you receive on your number. But you need not worry - Fonecall gives you Included Talk Time with all 1800 number plans. If you go over your cap you will pay a cheap, competitive rate for the additional calls.

What you should know:
  1. Every plan includes Free Talk Time which has the value of the duration of the Free Talk Time multiplied by the standard call cost (Starter: 20c/min, Most Popular: 10c/min, Heavy: 8c/min). All calls you receive are deducted from this value and if this value is depleted, calls will be charged in addition.
  2. We require 30 days' notice for any cancellations.
  3. Charges are GST exclusive.
